Kathy has been writing since her dad first offered her five cents for every correctly spelled word. Temporarily distracted by three children and a career in finance she’s now back on the job. Kathy currently works as a freelance writer.
Her recent piece, Brompton’s Mixture, won Glimmer Train’s honorable mention award for Best New Writer. Her short fiction, I want won Glimmer Train’s honorable mention award for “Best Short Fiction.” Kathy’s poem, Nana, reprinted in this website, was published in Apiary Magazine, fall 2011.
Kathy lives in Bryn Mawr, nine miles outside of Philadelphia, with those same three kids and her two English bulldogs.
